As of today, OwnerRez is putting TripSkip in front of its hosts. TripSkip now sits in the OwnerRez channel list next to the platforms you already use, with its own setup guide in the OwnerRez support center. If you run your rentals on OwnerRez, you can publish to TripSkip without retyping a single listing.

To every OwnerRez host finding us for the first time: welcome. Here is what TripSkip is, what the connection does, and how to get live today.

What TripSkip Is

TripSkip is a vacation rental marketplace with zero guest fees. Guests search and compare stays the way they would anywhere else. When they find your place, they book with you, on your own booking page, at your price. Nothing gets stacked on top of the total at checkout, and nothing comes off your payout.

That is the whole difference, and it matters more than it sounds. On a commission platform, the price a guest sees and the price you set can be fifteen percent or more apart. Why the OwnerRez Connection Fits

OwnerRez hosts already have the hardest part of direct booking solved. You have a Hosted Website or a Public Booking Link, real payment processing, your own rental agreement and your own guest records. What most direct booking sites are missing is traffic. A beautiful booking page does nothing if nobody finds it.

TripSkip is the front door. We bring guests who are specifically looking to book direct, and we send them straight to the booking page you already run. The reservation lands in OwnerRez like any other direct booking. You keep the guest, the payment and the relationship.

What Syncs

• Property details, photos and amenities, pulled straight from OwnerRez. Update them there and TripSkip follows.
• Live availability, so guests never fall in love with dates you cannot sell.
• Approximate location. Zoom in on the TripSkip map and your property shows as a neighborhood circle, not a pin on your front door. Your exact address is never pinned on the map.
• Booking happens on your OwnerRez Hosted Website or the OwnerRez Global Landing Page, whichever you choose.

How to Connect, Step by Step

Plan on about ten minutes. You will start in OwnerRez and finish in TripSkip.

In OwnerRez:

1. Go to Settings, then Channel Management, then Channel Integrations.
2. Click + Connect a Channel and choose Connect TripSkip.
3. On the settings page, pick your landing page (your Hosted Website or the Global Landing Page), your booking window and stay length, any rate adjustment, the email for inquiries, and your options. Save.
4. Open the Instructions tab and copy your Connection ID. It starts with "ora".

In TripSkip:

1. Create a free host account, or sign in if you already have one.
2. Open your dashboard, go to Settings, then the API Integrations tab.
3. Add an integration, choose OwnerRez, and paste your Connection ID.
4. Paste the booking page you want guests sent to, usually your OwnerRez Hosted Website.

That is it. Your selected listings appear on TripSkip within minutes. There is no API key to create, because TripSkip connects to OwnerRez on your behalf.

A Note on Rate Adjustment

OwnerRez lets you set a rate adjustment per channel, and most hosts mark up their commission channels to cover the fees. You do not need to do that here. TripSkip takes no booking commission and adds no guest fee, so your standard rate is already your best rate. Leaving it at your normal price is what makes your TripSkip listing the obvious deal next to the same property elsewhere.

Make the First Listing Count

• Lead with your best photo. It is your cover on the TripSkip search page.
• Check your booking page link after connecting. Click Book Now on your live listing and make sure it opens the right property.
• Tell your past guests. Repeat guests who find you on TripSkip are booking direct with someone they already trust.
